Work should be more than just a paycheck. That’s why we’ve created a fun and engaging office environment filled with exciting perks like billiards, table tennis, a mini golf course, PS4, darts, and much more! These activities not only bring joy to the workplace but also help our people love their job even more. We’ve found that the joy of playing helps build strong relationships, enhances appreciation for different skills, fosters social interactions, and, most importantly, helps release stress. It’s all part of our commitment to making work a place where our people thrive, both professionally and personally.

We honor our people’s special day by treating the complete team to a lunch of their choice—because in our deen, gratitude is best expressed together. The idea is to elevate such occasions into moments of joy and unity.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to:
Bond over delicious food
Create lasting memories
Show appreciation for our team members
Enjoy a shared meal, laughter, and a strong sense of camaraderie as we come together to celebrate birthdays and foster a positive work environment.
We started with casual dress days once a week, but when we saw how relaxed and productive our people became, we decided to do away with the formal dress code altogether.
Now, our team enjoys a more casual and comfortable work environment every day. Of course, when formal client meetings are on the agenda, our people ensure they dress appropriately to suit the occasion. It’s all about balancing comfort and professionalism, creating a workplace that’s both enjoyable and productive.
Every other week, we gather to enjoy a documentary and a delicious lunch. After the film, we come together to share our insights, discuss the key themes, and engage in thought-provoking conversations.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn from each other, broaden our perspectives, and foster a sense of intellectual curiosity. Our Documentary Lunches offer a blend of education, entertainment, and meaningful discussion, creating a stimulating and enriching experience for everyone involved.
We believe that serving local community needs not only helps others but also fosters a culture of compassion within our organization.
By allowing our people to engage in community service, we help lower stress levels, boost goodwill, and support a healthier, more balanced workforce. These well-organized efforts create social occasions that improve team morale and help develop leadership skills. We encourage our people to support causes that matter to them in the cities where we operate, making a positive impact both locally and within our team.
We believe success is a team effort, and everyone deserves to share in the rewards. That’s why we’ve introduced our Revolutionary Bonus Structure, where our people, regardless of their department, benefits from the company’s growth.
This unique bonus system ties everyone’s rewards to client retention—each year a client stays, each person earns a share. It’s not just about celebrating success; it’s about creating a culture where everyone plays a role in driving long-term client loyalty and business growth. In addition to sharing the rewards, this structure ensures that everyone shares in the responsibility. When a client leaves, the impact is felt by all, reinforcing the idea that each of us contributes to the company’s success. This collective approach encourages our people to think like owners, fostering unity and accountability across the organization. Our bonus structure empowers everyone to take ownership of both the wins and the challenges, aligning individual success with the company’s future.
They say that an employee never forgets a bad review experience. Moreover, research has shown that all kinds of personal biases influence employee appraisals. That’s why we decided to completely get rid of annual performance evaluations.
Instead we focus on meaningful outcomes over processes with instant development where our managers coach their people all day, every day with positively constructed feedback. It’s best to focus on the present and the immediate future of our people rather than what he or she did in the past. Additionally, the CEO personally sets time aside once a month to go through the details of each and every client aspect of our business—from work-flow to employee challenges to client updates, finance, and operations. These meetings also help encourage interactions across teams, build collaboration with peers, and spark conversation about work as well as play. The design of these meetings allows our people to ask questions directly to the CEO about any number of company issues – even if their computer mouse is not working!
Share ownership is widely considered as an effective way of boosting your people’s productivity and helping create a culture of ownership. When your employees own a stake in the company, their attitude towards business changes—and so does your bottom line.
In our pursuit to provide a financially meaningful ownership scheme, we faced numerous challenges given the inadequate local laws for free transfer of shares. So we created an innovative shares-mirroring route designed to shadow the movement of dividends of actual Shares paid to the shareholders. Under the plan a set number of shares can be handed to our people every year which entitle the recipients to receive cash incentive calculated based on the annual profit-sharing amount and the cumulative net profit to be distributed to the actual shareholders. This helped our people (eligible under the plan) feel like an tributary owner of a significant asset and serve as a catalyst for growth. When you make your people feel like owners they value the opportunity and develop an ownership mindset – with an inherent incentive to grow your company and increase its profitability.
Each individual is unique and smart. A company would be mad to keep all that brain-power locked up. People in an organization should be allowed to set time aside and work on their own ideas with a skew towards the line of business and services which your company offers.
At our offices, we believe in helping our people choose their own adventure and work on anything that relates to our field of work and deliver it at the end of the month. We call this Creative Time Project. Our idea is to allow people to scratch ‘itches’ which they believe can one day become breakthrough ideas in our industry.
We believe in fostering continuous growth, both personally and professionally. That’s why we introduced The Knowledge Shelf in 2024—a unique initiative that empowers our people to choose the books that fuel their curiosity and development.
Whether it’s diving into a thought-provoking read or exploring new skills, the choice is yours, and we handle the rest. But it’s not just about individual growth. After finishing a book, team members share their key takeaways with the group, sparking insightful conversations and promoting a culture of knowledge-sharing. Through The Knowledge Shelf, we’re building a community that learns and grows together, one book at a time.
Flexibility of scheduling their own office timings helps boost productivity, which is why we offer our people the ability to set their own office timings.
Whether it’s managing a long commute, taking children to school, catching up on sleep after a late night, or enjoying a relaxing breakfast with family, our flexible schedule options are designed to support the diverse needs of our team. This approach has helped lower stress levels, boost productivity, and allow our people to focus better on their tasks, all while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
We understand the importance of taking time to rest and recharge, which is why we offer a generous and flexible annual leave policy that grows with our people as they continue their journey with us.
3 months to 5 years of service: Enjoy 30 calendar days of leave each year to unwind and rejuvenate.
61 months to 7 years of service: Your leave increases to 35 calendar days annually, giving you even more time to refresh.
85 months to over 9 years of service: After 9 years, you’ll receive an enhanced leave of 38 calendar days per year as a reward for your long-term dedication.
This tiered structure reflects our commitment to supporting the well-being of our people, ensuring they have plenty of time to relax, recharge, and enjoy life outside of work.
We believe in building an authentic culture that prioritizes well-being. That’s why we offer committed time-off during vacations, allowing our people to completely disengage from work and focus on personal, creative, and family activities.
While they’re away, their responsibilities are managed by other team members, ensuring a smooth workflow. This dedicated time-off helps our people return to work feeling refreshed, more organized, and fully recharged, leading to greater productivity and a balanced work-life experience.
Every employee desires to control his time. They covet opportunities that offer flexibility in getting work done in non-traditional settings while balancing the stress of being a family provider and maintaining a home.
In 2016, we started experimenting with a four-day workweek program to see how it pans out for our people. What we observed was that giving them the flexibility to choose a midweek break, a three-day weekend, or work from home with no commute helped them free up personal time in a meaningful way. Naturally, a four-day week schedule gives employees 52 extra days in each year, allowing them the freedom and flexibility to manage their work, recharge, and spend more time with their families. This flexi-scheme was formalized and officially incorporated in 2019 and has greatly helped us reduce stress and increase motivation and engagement. In 2024, we extended this flexibility even further, offering everyone the option to work from home for two days each week, providing even more balance between their personal and professional life. So, test it out at your organization in a limited trial basis and see if they are ready to do more with less!
Slipping back into work mode can be a challenge for many people. To help our people from undoing any benefits they may have received from taking a break we offer a half-day work on the first day of return.
This helps get over the “back to work blues” and prepares them to get back into the game and positively deal with the pending tasks. By the second day, our people return with renewed energy and restored creativity, ready to take on their work with enthusiasm.
With levels of stress, anxiety, and depression increasing in the workplace, alternative methods are needed to create a healthy and supportive culture. At SRB, we consider spirituality more of a process than an end.
We help our people attain personal stability by giving them a ten-day paid spiritual retreat (I’tikaf) in a supportive setting. Our people see this period as the best time to silently contemplate, reflect, and build self-awareness of their spiritual surroundings. These spiritual retreats help people view their life and work as a spiritual path and renew their purpose in life, as well as attain a sense of peace and awareness of the Creator’s presence in both their corporate and personal lives. We hope our efforts help reduce stress, anxiety, and provide lasting lifestyle value.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) was known for fasting Mondays and Thursdays. He also recommended fasting on the days of Ahsura and Zul Hijja and increased his own fasting during the month of Sha’baan. We wanted our people to remain positive about fasting throughout the year and continue boosting their spirituality from the journey of one Ramadan to the next.
We decided to give our people 2 hours off for each day they fasted. The result? Apart from renewed energy and positivity, the entire team renewed their respect and trust in management for making such a facility available.
All businesses are desperately in need of God’s mercy. We strongly believe that an increase in obedience to God leads to an increase in wealth. Perhaps this is a reason why worldly benefits are mentioned alongside the benefits of acts of worship in several places in the Quran.
To inspire our people to worship God even more, we allow our people 10 paid minutes to observe Nawafil (Optional Prayers) anytime of the day. They are also allowed the same time off to sit and meditate on the remembrance of our Creator and purpose of life.
We believe that access to healthy food contributes to a more positive and productive workplace. In line with our CEO’s personal values and practices, our office promotes a health-conscious culture by offering a variety of nutritious options throughout the day.
Our people enjoy hearty cereals in the morning, snacks in the break room, mixed fruits and nuts during meetings, and occasional treats. To top it off, we also provide healthy lunches throughout the week, ensuring that our team is well-nourished and energized. This thoughtful approach to food helps create a more positive and collaborative work environment, where our people can thrive.
Staying fit and healthy has never been easier with our Fitness Policy! Launched in 2022, this initiative helps our people and their spouses maintain an active, balanced lifestyle by covering part of the costs for gym memberships and wellness activities.
Whether you’re hitting the gym, joining fitness classes, or starting a personal training plan, we’re here to support your journey. Eligible participants can receive reimbursement for themselves and their spouse, or opt for individual memberships. From personal training sessions to group fitness classes, this program makes achieving wellness goals more accessible. Simply provide proof of your gym membership and regular attendance, and we’ll take care of the reimbursement. Whether you’re embarking on a new fitness journey or continuing your wellness routine, this program is designed to keep you healthy, energized, and thriving.
The well-being and comfort of our people come first. That’s why we offer the Posture Perfect Program, ensuring that every team member has access to ergonomic chairs designed for optimal support.
These chairs reduce strain on the back, shoulders, and muscles, promoting a healthier and more comfortable work environment. Our program allows team members to request a new ergonomic chair every six years, or sooner if medically required. The Finance Department carefully manages the selection process to ensure each chair meets high ergonomic and budgetary standards. Once approved, we handle the ordering and delivery, making it a hassle-free experience. We believe that a comfortable workspace is essential for productivity and well-being, helping our people perform at their best every day.
Every year the CEO personally writes to the parents of every employee in our organization and shares a specially designed report highlighting our corporate performance and progress towards our goals around the world.
This allows us to secure their prayers and help them feel good about their child’s achievements. This practice also helps develop a positive attitude about our company, and the parents’ positivity cycles back and influences our people.
We offer support to the parents of our people in unpredictable times of medical needs. A medical emergency can be an unpleasant financial surprise, and supporting them during such times helps build a family-like bond, keeping our people and their parents happy and healthy.
So in time of need, we provide our people with an interest-free loan to support their parent’s medical expenses covering doctor’s fees, medicine bills, hospital stays, procedures, surgeries, and other related charges. Our loans have flexible repayment tenures so that our people can gradually repay the loan amount without added stress.
We believe that life’s biggest moments deserve to be celebrated. That’s why we offer 10 paid days of Marriage Leave to help our people relax and enjoy time with their new spouse.

We understand how the demands of daily life can affect relationships. Between busy work schedules, children’s activities, and social commitments, it’s easy for couples to drift apart. That’s why we’ve introduced the Couple’s Retreat Raffle—a unique opportunity for our people to recharge and reconnect with their partners.
Each February, one lucky team member will win USD 5,300 to cover a getaway for two, including flights, accommodation, guided tours, and more. The best part? You get to choose the destination, as long as it’s outside your country of origin.

It’s our way of supporting your personal life as well as your professional growth, helping you build a strong foundation for your future.
Owning a home is a dream shared by many, and we’re committed to helping our people turn that dream into reality. Through our Mortgage Support Program, launched in 2023, we provide financial assistance to help team members secure their first home in Bahrain or Saudi Arabia.
This initiative is designed to ease the financial burden by contributing toward Sharia-compliant mortgage payments.
Eligible participants, who have been with us for at least five years, can apply for support, offering peace of mind as they settle into their new homes. The program covers a portion of mortgage repayments, which are conveniently deducted from annual bonuses or stock incentives, making it easier to balance homeownership with other financial commitments. More than just a perk, this program is a step toward stability, personal growth, and long-term security.
