Dr. Abdullah Aljohar is an academic and Shariah consultant specializing in comparative jurisprudence, contracts, and contemporary financial transactions. With more than 13 years of academic and advisory experience, he currently serves as Assistant Professor of Jurisprudence at the College of Sharia & Islamic Studies, King Faisal University. He has provided Shariah and legal consultation to various institutions, acted as an arbitrator in commercial disputes, and contributed to the design and development of university-level curricula.
He holds a PhD in Jurisprudence from Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, where he graduated with highest honors. Sheikh Dr. Salman Jaber Al-Majlam is a prominent figure in the field of comparative jurisprudence and Shari›a policy. He has extensive academic and field experience in Sharia oversight and Islamic financial consulting. He has held several leadership positions, including Director of the Sharia Supervision Department at Al Rajhi Bank in Kuwait, and Senior Supervisor and Shari›a Advisor. He has also served as a member of official committees concerned with developing religious discourse and Islamic educational curricula at Kuwait University and the Ministry of Awqaf.
Dr. Salman combines deep academic specialization with practical experience in the fields of Islamic finance and banking. Shaikh Mufti Muhammad Khalid Hasani is a distinguished Shariah scholar with strong expertise in Islamic jurisprudence. He holds a Shahadah Aalamiyyah (Master’s in Shariah/ Islamic Studies) from Jamia Darul Uloom Karachi, followed by an advanced specialization
in Islamic jurisprudence (Mufti Course), and a bachelor’s degree in Economics. He has extensive experience in teaching Islamic disciplines and has served in key Shariah roles across several leading Islamic financial institutions. He is currently a Shariah Board Member at Bank Al Baraka Pakistan and has contributed to product development, Shariah compliance, and Takaful structuring across the banking and insurance sectors. Sheikh Dr. Hassan bin Ghaleb bin Hassan Al-Daileh is an Associate Professor of Graduate Studies at the College of Sharia and Law, Jazan University, and currently serves as the President of the Saudi Fiqh Society at the university. He holds a PhD in Sharia and a Master’s degree in Comparative Jurisprudence from Imam Muhammad Bin Saud Islamic University. Dr. Al-Daileh has contributed significantly to the legal and academic landscape in Saudi Arabia, including his role as a member of the Sharia Committee for the Code of Judicial Judgments, established by Royal Decree, and as a former member of the International Islamic Commission for Economics and Finance under the Muslim World League.

Sheikh Waleed Abdul Monem Ahmed Al Mahmood began working in 1989 as a legal researcher at the Research and Legal Affairs Department at the General Organization for Social Insurance. After 10 years as a researcher, he joined the Shari’a Supervision Department in Al Baraka Islamic Bank as a manager. In 2005, he served as a Shari’a Judge in the High Court at the Ministry of Justice and Islamic Affairs and in 2007 he served as a Member of the Shari’a Supervisory Board in Al Baraka Islamic Bank. Sheikh Al Mahmood is a member of the Islamic Society in Bahrain and has participated on many occasions in specialized Fiqh (jurisprudence) conferences and seminars, as well as providing numerous contributions to preaching and religious teaching in mosques in Bahrain. He received his Master’s degree in Shari’a and Law from the American Open University in 2007.
Dr. Mohamad Akram serves as the Executive Director of the International Shariah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA), where he leads initiatives to advance Islamic finance through comprehensive research and guidance. Additionally, he obtained a Professional Master’s degree in Islamic Finance from the General Council of Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain, with his thesis focusing on “The Governance of Islamic Financial Institutions.”
Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. at King Faisal University and serves as an arbitrator and Islamic expert accredited by the International Islamic Center for Reconciliation and Arbitration in Dubai. He has studied under esteemed scholars and taught the Hanbali school of thought for over five years at the Scientific Institute of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University. In addition, he is an academic collaborator and provides legal consultations for several law firms. Sheikh Gapur is a Shari’a scholar from Ingushetia (Russia) and he got his bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, and PhD in Fiqh and Usul Fiqh from International Islamic University Malaysia. He is very active in writing and has contributed significantly through articles, books, and research that are important to the field of Islamic finance, such as “Cryptocurrency from Shariah Perspective” and “Issues in Foreign Exchange Trading from Shari’a Perspective.” Sheikh Gapur can speak six languages: English, Arabic, Russian, Ingush (native), Chechen, and basic Malay.
Sheikh Dr. Ahmed works as an Associate Professor of Islamic Economics in the Department of Sharia and Islamic Studies at the College of Arts at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. He received his Ph.D. in Islamic Economics from Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah. Prior to joining King Abdulaziz University, he worked as a teaching assistant at the Teachers College in Abha. Currently, he serves as a transactional lawyer at an international law firm headquartered in London, while also providing Shari’ah-compliant investment consultancy services.
Mufti Faraz Adam has dedicated nearly a decade to the rigorous study of Islamic law. He completed a comprehensive six-year Alimiyyah program in the UK, after which he pursued the Iftaa course in South Africa.
Mufti Faraz holds a Master’s Degree in Islamic Finance, Banking, and Management from Newman University, UK, obtained in 2017. Additionally, he has achieved various industry qualifications in Islamic Finance. He has been actively involved in Shariah advisory for several years, contributing over 5,000 responses, with a significant focus on Islamic finance. In 2016, he joined the National Zakat Foundation in the UK, where he currently serves as a full-time Zakat advisor and researcher. In 2017, he launched Amanah Finance Consultancy as a Shariah consultancy platform. Mufti Faraz Adam presently serves as a Shariah advisor to numerous organizations and financial institutions globally.
